• Admiration to my collectors

    January 13, 2016 | Posted By: | Uncategorized |

There are a few reasons that I paint… I love to create, I love to use my imagination, I love to feed my soul, body, and mind, but most importantly, I love the pleasure that my work brings to my collectors.  It is with the utmost gratitude to Dain and Marleta for supporting my works for the past 7 years and owning over 40 paintings.  It’s been long overdue, but I wanted to acknowledge your cultivation of my career with this post and your addition to my collectors list on my website.  Without you and others like you, I wouldn’t be able to live everyday as an artist.  You both are the epitome of true fans of the arts.  I appreciate and love everything about you two.  At first you were collectors, now I see you as family.  Thank you very, very, very much Dain and Marleta.

    Make A Wish and CareFusion

    August 6, 2014 | Posted By: | Uncategorized |

This year is no exception as we have chosen a very special charity to partner with; “Make a Wish Foundation.”  Make-A-Wish® grants the wish of a child diagnosed with a life-threatening medical condition in the United States and its territories, on average, every 38 minutes. They believe that a wish experience can be a game-changer. This one belief guides and inspires them to grant wishes that change the lives of the kids they serve.  Every year, approximately 27,000 children are diagnosed with a medical condition that makes them eligible for a wish experience.  They have an audacious vision to grant the wish of every eligible child, every year.

Downtown Los Angeles ArtWalk Featured Artist sponsored by CityTarget

    September 16, 2012 | Posted By: | Uncategorized |

Join me at the Artwalk Downtown Los Angeles as I have been selected as the featured artist for the September showing.

The Downtown Art Walk returns September 13, promising an evening of chic gallery openings, fun people-watching, and hip restaurant scenes. Founded over eight years ago, Art Walk started as a community outreach program encouraging area galleries to stay open late in order to bring more people into the developing Downtown neighborhood. Now with over 50 galleries and 25,000 monthly guests, this self-guided tour of Downtown has catapulted into one of LA’s premier art events.
Held the second Thursday of every month, the Art Walk occurs mainly in Downtown’s historic core between 2nd and 9th Streets and Spring and Main Streets, however the galleries and highlighted restaurants spread beyond to the Fashion District, South Park, and the Financial District. Thursday’s event features a variety of notable exhibits, including a stunning set of works by Andy Anh Ha. Anh Ha, whose art can be found everywhere from Hollywood’s Yamashiro, to Jessica Alba’s private collection, to an episode of True Blood, will be the main attraction at the official Art Walk Lounge (634 S. Spring St.), hosted by CityTarget. There, guests will enjoy refreshments and art projects for all ages.

Thanks to Jesse at Juice Media for the images and the organizers at Artwalk and City Target for putting on a great show!

Signs with GreenBox Art and Culture

    November 1, 2011 | Posted By: | Uncategorized |

Andy Anh Ha signs multi year deal with GreenBox Art and Culture.  With the addition of Andy, GreenBox’s sales have seen an increase in sales and production.  Boutiques across America have recently purchased Anh Ha prints from GreenBox to begin this transformation.  1,000’s of Andy Anh Ha’s prints are spread amongst your high end retail stores across the US.  For more info and ways to purchase, visit :

    About GreenBox:

    What is our GreenBox Culture?

It is our company’s aim to link today’s working artists and people seeking expression for their walls that will mirror their individuality, alter the room’s mood and perhaps provoke a conversation. Describing art isn’t easy, but if pressed we would choose the label of contemporary- the art in our collection is of today. Additionally, our diverse offering is versatile. If you have a traditional environment, one of our stretched canvases can bring an interesting, sometimes needed twist. If you prefer modern interiors, a GreenBox canvas brings the space to life with a shot of color and hand-crafted layers that will warm your walls. To see more of what we are talking about, review our stretched canvas collection.

In the larger sense, our culture is about made in the USA, giving back and creating a life-long love of artistic efforts. For more than a decade, we have been manufacturing our canvases in San Diego where we custom print each piece, build wood frames and hand-stretch. Since day one, we have given to US based charities that directly affect American families and this year we are pleased to be partnering with an organization that serves 4 million American kids.

And what’s actually in our Box? Three brands- Oopsy daisy, Fine Art For Kids, Wheatpaste Art Collective and GreenBox Art- and together these three lines provide appropriate and engaging art offerings for each stage of life. We hope that you and your family will enjoy shopping all of our brands to find art that speaks to where you are now!

1st Place Award, Beverly Hills Affaire in the Gardens winner

    May 19, 2011 | Posted By: | Uncategorized |

Andy Anh Ha is awarded with the 1st place ribbon within the painting category for the fourth time in 5 years.  It is always a great feeling to receive this award, says Anh Ha.  It just goes to show how well respected and recognized Andy’s paintings are.  Considering that the Beverly Hills Affaire in the Gardens is one of the most prestigious art events in the country, only accepting 250 artist out of thousands of applicants.  It is remarkable that Andy continues to impress the panel of judges consisting of musuem curators, university professors, acclaimed artists, and many other highly placed individuals in the art community.   The constant work within his studio to push his creativity is awarded year after year.  “The highest achievement of my career has been obtaining the Gil Gorbos Award for Most Original in 2007, being the first to create such works that have rarely been seen is a great feeling”  Along with the 1st place award and sales in numbers rarely seen, Anh Ha’s works are constantly imitated.  Such in the way in which he creates boxed frames with wood panels and studs, to the high gloss clear acrylic polymer he uses and the unique manner of multiple layers of mixed mediums.  These other artist seem to believe imitation is a form of flattery, but in reality, it’s just sheer robbery.  Congratulations to Anh Ha’s continued success.

    Pacifico Mural Malibu, CA 2010

    June 4, 2010 | Posted By: | Uncategorized |

This project exceeded my limits and pushed me beyond painting on a larger size than my usual of wood and metal panels.  Pacifico came to me with a proposal of a hand painted mural at the dimensions of 8 x 60 feet.  and i took the challenge on.  check out the photos of the beginnings till the end.  from a hand held scale of the mural, to the projected proportions onto the wall, and finally the painted mural.  it was 4 1/2 weeks of planning, painting, and sun bathing.  an experience i will never forget.  but be sure i’ll be charging at least 10 times more than what i did…  it was fun, but sure exhausting, physically and mentally.
